Tour Description

Lake Chala is a great day trip takes you two hours of drive from Moshi town. This is crater lake located on the border of Tanzania and Kenya. The trek starts at the rim of the crater walking down on the beautiful lake. You will hike through savannah woodlands down to the lake; spend the day over there by swimming and relaxing then after hiking back up the crater wall. There is beautiful campsite with a campfire cooking facilities and bar. Sometimes you can see elephants, baboon and monkey moving around for watering holes which are adjacent to the lake.
