Best Time to Climb Kilimanjaro
There are two rain season on Kilimanjaro – march through to end of May and November through to January. The western part is wetter than northern slopes. During rain months making Rongai route as a favorite is better option. The June to October trekking season is the summer holiday in Europe and in America and hence certain Kilimanjaro route are often busy. Therefore end of March, April, May and November are the wettest months on Kilimanjaro and not ideal of trekking otherwise you can choose Northern Rongai route. Snow fall and cold temperatures are common during December-May.
