6 Days Serengeti Lodge Safari

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional representative from Afronature Tours and Safaris (AFTOSA Group). After a short safari briefing, you will be transferred to the charming town of Moshi, located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival at your lodge, you can relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, you will depart Moshi for Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through the countryside and into the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. A stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic views before descending into the park. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a game drive through lush forests, open plains, and the lake’s edge, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Bird lovers will also enjoy sightings of flamingos and other water birds. In the late afternoon, you will transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands with stunning views of the vast plains stretching into the horizon. As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape opens into endless savannah teeming with wildlife. You will enjoy a game drive en route to your camp, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and more. Arrive at your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight under the African sky.

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. With morning and afternoon game drives, you will have excellent chances to witness predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, allowing you to stay immersed in the wilderness throughout the day before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before beginning your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the Serengeti plains behind, you will ascend into the cooler highlands, arriving at the crater rim in the afternoon. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views over the vast Ngorongoro Crater below. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge or camp near the crater.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive in this wildlife-rich caldera, home to the “Big Five” and a dense concentration of animals. You will explore the crater floor, spotting lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, hippos, and many other species. After a picnic lunch, you will ascend from the crater and continue your journey toward the Tarangire area for dinner and overnight.

After the game drive, you will begin your return journey to Moshi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
