Our safari driver-guides, Kilimanjaro mountain guides, and cultural tour guides are fluent in English, with additional language skills including Spanish, German, French, and Italian.
Our guides are more than drivers—they are storytellers, educators, and ambassadors of Tanzania. They are professionally trained in safety, customer care, wildlife interpretation, and ethical guiding practices. Honest, adaptable, and creative, our guides are skilled at adjusting itineraries to suit individual interests while maintaining excellent group dynamics.

Qualifications & Training of Our Guides
All our guides meet and exceed the standards set by the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO). Each guide holds recognized certification from accredited tour guide colleges in Tanzania, a valid driving license, and mandatory First Aid certification.
Many of our guides have over ten years of hands-on experience, bringing deep knowledge and confidence to every safari.
To maintain the highest standards, Afronature Tours & Safaris (AFTOSA Group) conducts regular training sessions based on evolving tourism trends, guest feedback, and professional ethical guidelines.

Our Kilimanjaro Mountain Porters
Our Kilimanjaro trekking success is made possible by our incredible team of mountain porters and guides. Afronature Tours & Safaris (AFTOSA Group) works with a trusted core group of experienced porters, maintaining a fair porter-to-climber ratio of 3–4 porters per climber.
This ensures no porter carries excessive weight and allows climbers to enjoy the trek without unnecessary physical strain. Our positive reputation on Mount Kilimanjaro attracts hardworking, friendly, and dedicated porters who take pride in supporting climbers every step of the way.
